While I’m aware that peak strawberry season is still a few months away in New Jersey, the Floridian in me will always associate the start of spring with bright and juicy sun-ripened strawberries. As temperatures begin to warm up and tiny green buds start to emerge, dotting the branches of the trees in my backyard and shooting up from the still-damp soil, I’m pushing full speed ahead into spring with all of the florals and herbs and fruits that it brings. In that ‘I’m ready for you, spring’ spirit, here are some of my very favorite strawberry recipes from over the years. Enjoy and happy spring!
